About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our complex network infrastructure across multiple sites in New Zealand. This is a critical role within our technology team, requiring a strong technical background and the ability to lead network projects from conception through to delivery.
• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-level LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
• Lead network upgrade and migration projects, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors
• Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
• Monitor network performance and capacity, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues
• Mentor junior network engineers and provide technical guidance to the broader IT team
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a network engineering role within an enterprise environment
• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent
• Strong hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), firewalls, and network security technologies
• Experience with SD-WAN, cloud networking (AWS, Azure), and network automation tools
• Full New Zealand work rights and eligibility to pass a background check
• Competitive salary package between $110,000 – $135,000 depending on experience
