How much does it cost to post a job?
We offer flexible plans starting with a free trial. Our Starter listing is NZD $49, Featured is $99, and Premium is $199. Recruiter and employer subscriptions are available with monthly plans. See our Pricing page for full details.
How does identity verification work for candidates?
Candidates upload a copy of their passport, driver licence, or national ID. Our team reviews the document and, where available, cross-checks with authorised third-party providers such as NZTA for licence verification. The underlying document is never shared with employers — only the verification status badge is shown.
Is JobSeek only for New Zealand residents?
The Platform is designed for the New Zealand job market and is particularly relevant for employers operating in New Zealand. Candidates must hold or be applying for NZ work rights to be eligible for most roles. International candidates can register but their work rights status will be reflected in their profile.
Can I trial the platform before paying?
Yes. Candidates register for free and can use all candidate features at no cost. Employers can view the platform and create a company profile before choosing a subscription. Contact us at hello@jobseek.nz to arrange a demonstration.
How is JobSeek different from Seek or TradeMe Jobs?
Traditional job boards stop at the application. JobSeek adds candidate verification (identity, work rights, licences, qualifications), AI-powered matching, a built-in recruiter CRM, digital offer letters, electronic signatures, and employee onboarding — all in one platform. It is designed to take employers from job posting to a fully onboarded employee without leaving the platform.
How do I request access to or deletion of my personal data?
Email our Privacy Officer at privacy@jobseek.nz with your name, account email address, and the nature of your request. We will respond within 5 working days. For full details of your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
What happens to my data if I close my account?
Your profile and documents are retained for 12 months after closure in case of dispute, then deleted or anonymised. Signed employment documents and billing records are retained for 7 years as required by law. You can request early deletion of non-legal-hold data by contacting our Privacy Officer.
I think I've found a security vulnerability — what do I do?
Please email security@jobseek.nz immediately. Do not disclose the vulnerability publicly until we have had the opportunity to investigate and remediate it. We take all security reports seriously and will respond within 2 business hours.
