Job Details

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced coffee-nerd to join the tight-knit team in our Christchurch roastery to drive sales, training and support.

Our ethos is simple. More people drinking and enjoying great coffee. For us that means sourcing and roasting fresh, high quality, ethical coffee and sharing our skills and experience with our customers.

When it comes to sales and support we take the same approach as we do with our beans. Quality over quantity. We always look to build strong, lasting relationships with great customers.

Your role will be to support and train our existing customers, and develop new business of a similar calibre. This role won’t suit a bash-down-doors type of sales person. We’re looking for someone who earns respect, builds new relationships with great people and adds something to our team.

Requirements

    Must haves:
    Experience in the coffee industry and strong coffee-making credentials.
    At least five years proven experience in business development, sales or support roles ideally within the coffee industry.
    A full New Zealand drivers license
    Proficient computer/technology skills
    Be based in Christchurch and able to travel.
    Demonstrated ability to work in and lead teams.
    Ability to track and report on activity and progress.

    Nice to have:
    Awareness of C4 Coffee Co and our history
    General technical know-how (ideally some experience with coffee machines)
