Level 2 IT Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Level 2 IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic technology team, providing escalated technical support and resolving complex IT issues across the organisation. This role is ideal for a motivated IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to end users. • Provide escalated Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring timely resolution within agreed SLAs • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex desktop, server, and application issues escalated from Level 1 support staff • Manage and maintain Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise systems including user account administration • Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of endpoints, servers, and networking equipment • Document technical procedures, solutions, and configurations in the IT knowledge base to support continuous improvement • Liaise with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to coordinate problem resolution and communicate progress effectively • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an IT support role, with demonstrated Level 2 or equivalent experience • Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) • Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent practical experience • Full and valid New Zealand driver's licence and legal right to work in New Zealand • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users • Competitive salary with regular performance reviews and career progression opportunities • Flexible working arrangements including hybrid work-from-home options • Access to ongoing training, certifications, and professional development funding • Supportive team culture with modern tools and technology to set you up for success
